Obituary of Laurie Lynn Ewert

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laurie Ewert , October 5, 1968 – January 24, 2024, after a short battle with cancer.

Laurie is survived by her husband Ivor, son Jeffrey (Carla) mom Eleanor (John), sisters Judy (Bill), Cindy (Errol) and brother Dale (Mary) along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Laurie was predeceased by her father Elmer, and brother Elmer Jr.

Laurie was born in Saskatoon and raised in Delisle. Laurie left Delisle to move to Saskatoon where she got a job and made numerous friends being the people person she was. Laurie and Ivor met 38 years ago and were married for 25 years. Laurie and Ivor welcomed Jeffrey in December 1990 while living in Calgary and shortly after returned to Saskatoon.

Laurie had a love for music and dancing. She was the life of the party. Laurie was a very outgoing person who made a lot of friends everywhere she went. Laurie had a deep love for family and loved deeply.

A Celebration of Laurie’s life will be on Friday, March 15, 2024 at St. George’s Senior Citizens Centre, 1235, 20^th St. West from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm. with a short program to begin at 2:00 pm.
