Obituary of Michael William Prystupa
Michael William Prystupa
1971-2024
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Michael Prystupa on Friday January 19th, 2024.
Michael was born January 29, 1971 and raised in Saskatoon, SK. As a child, he was adventurous and fearless. With a twinkle in his eye and mischievous smile, he was always keeping mom and dad on their toes. Throughout his years, his smile and contagious laugh was loved by all.
As he got older, his love of hockey grew. He enjoyed playing for multiple years and watching his favorite team, the Toronto Maple Leafs.
He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing with Dad or his friends. He never passed up the opportunity of a deer or goose hunt.
Michael’s greatest pride were his three daughters, Desiree, Carlie and Jailyn. The love he had for them was unconditional. “Daddies don’t just love their children every now and then, it’s a love without end, Amen”.
Michael is lovingly remembered by his three daughters Desiree (Matt) Constance, Alexander, Doris; Carlie; Jailyn (Ryley) Alayah, Georgia; parents Edward and Elizabeth; siblings Noreen; Rick (Riki); Clint; Tricia (Sid). He is also remembered by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday January 24, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church (211 Avenue 0 South, Saskatoon). Rite of Committal to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Special thanks to all the doctors, nurses, and homecare personnel at Parkridge Centre over the past 19 years, for the care that Michael received.
Mike, you and your sandal tan will be missed. We love you.
