Obituary of Phyllis Goertzen

Phyllis Goertzen (nee Kulpa)

It is with sadness that we share with you the passing of our mother, grandmother and great grandmother after a brief illness on November 21, 2023.  We thank the doctors, nurses and staff at McClure Place, Amy McClure House and St. Paul’s Hospital Palliative Care Unit for their tremendous care and support.  In accordance with her wishes there will not be a funeral.  Following cremation, she will be laid to rest at the Shellbrook Cemetery next to her husband Elmer Goertzen.  In lieu of flowers or if you wish to celebrate her memory through a donation, please consider the Canadian Cancer Society or an organization of your choice.
