Obituary of Mayme Louise Borisko

We are saddened to announce the death of our mother and grandmother Mayme Borisko following a long illness.

She was predeceased by her husband Nicholas Borisko and by her mother and step-father Ethel and Sidney Piddlesden.

She is survived by her sons, Brent McKee and Gregory Borisko (Theresa), and by her grandson Brian Borisko. Mayme was born in Harris, Saskatchewan.

She spent most of her working life working in banks, except for a brief time working as a bookkeeper for Adilman’s department store. Mayme retired after 32 years with the Royal Bank in Saskatoon. Mayme was an avid and expert five-pin bowler, bowling in as many as four leagues a week following her retirement. She loved flowers and greatly enjoyed when her boys filled various planters in the spring. 

We would like to thank all the nurses and care workers from the Saskatchewan Health Authority who helped support her during her final illness.

At Mayme’s request, the interment will be held privately.
