I’m sorry to hear the news about Doreen, despite her optimism. I did not see her for quite a few years, however, I was kept informed indirectly through Katherine,Jake and sister Lisa. I won’t soon forget Doreen’s smile and the twinkle in her eye when she was talking about one of her kids… I first met Doreen when they lived on Ave F near 23rd St. Raymond and I got some heat from her for playing in some big tanks at the dairy business nearby. Funny , she gave us heck just like my own mom would have…She cared. Doreen and Jake welcomed me in and made me feel comfortable. From the Lafontaines to the Harder family we share in your hurt today, our condolences.
