Obituary of Danna-Lee Liza Swimmer

Every now and then, for reasons we will never understand, Heaven recalls one of their own. It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our Angel, Danna-Lee Liza Swimmer on October 14, 2021. Danna-Lee came into this world on April 24, 2000, Royal University Hospital, born to parents Bernard Swimmer and Noella Moccasin.

Danna-Lee lived her entire life in Saskatoon, attended North Park Wilson Elementary and attended various high schools.  Danna-Lee was attending Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies at the time of her passing, and throughout her life met many people, made many friends and touched everyone she met.

Danna-Lee will be forever remembered by her father Bernard Swimmer, mother Noella Moccasin, sisters Danelle Swimmer (Sianna-lynn & Dazlen Strongarm), Darienne Moccasin, brother Mike and Chris Harder, grandmother Eliza Swimmer, numerous aunts, uncles, living relatives and her many friends.

Danna-Lee was predeceased by grandfathers William Swimmer, Leo Moccasin Sr., grandmother Ada Moccasin, relatives Lee Myles Moccasin, Eliza Moccasin.  A farewell ceremony will be held at Westwood Funeral Chapel (1402 20^th Street West)  on Wednesday, October 20th from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.  Guests are invited to come-and-go during this time.
