Guy Devenny was the pilot who gave me my very first airplane ride. Ten years later I made the commitment to become a commercial pilot. Guy was behind the counter at Mitchinson’s when I enrolled in ground school, and I knew I was in good hands. He not only provided me with professional instruction, but also sage life advice that still resonates with me to this day. It was a privilege to work with Guy. Although there will be no more new experiences with Guy I will try to pass on all the wisdom and knowledge that he imparted on myself to other aspiring pilots. His positive attitude, strong work ethic, and unique sense of humour has inspired me over the course of my career.
