Today we remember Peter Aloijs Gall who died May 3, 2021 at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Peter is predeceased by parents Mary and John Gall, siblings Victor Gall and Irene Strautman, in-laws Sylvia Gall and Robert Strautman and nephews Eric and Trent Strautman. Peter had been in the auto-mechanic industry all his life, putting significant passion into restoring automotive vehicles and farm equipment. He was a member of the Chev 567 Club for 40 years. He enjoyed building model farm antique equipment in his spare time, many of which he won awards for. Peter also had a great passion for music, specifically old-time polka music; his favorite instrument was the accordion. Along with music, Peter also enjoyed the great game of hockey, playing many scrimmage games in his younger days. You could usually find Peter enjoying a coffee at Tim Hortons teasing his friends and exclaiming one of his favorite lines, “I was only joking!” Peter also liked to joke around with friends and family often asking them, “You got five bucks?” Peter lived a long and fulfilled life and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
