Obituary of Andrew Villeneuve
Andy passed away at his residence in Saskatoon on March 21, 2016. He is survived by his wife Laura and precious son Peter, along with his other children Andy Jr. Bird, James Trottier, Darren, Lonnie Rachelle, and Dillon Villeneuve. He is also survived by his mother Cecile; sisters, Leona, Louise (Skip), Linda, Eileen (Harvey), Marlene, Pauline Fox (Shawn), Claudia; brothers, Randy (Irene), Wayne (Heidi), Louis (Leah); grandchildren, Styles (Taylor), Edan, Elias, Khalila, Dasia, Aiden, Avyn, and twins on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his dad Joseph, son Tony, grandparents Sophie and Louis Short, and nephew Clay Desjarlais.
Andy was born in Shellbrook, SK on January 22, 1968 to Joseph and Cecile Villeneuve, raised in Park Valley, SK and attended school in Debden, SK. When he left home, he lived in Prince Albert and later moved to Saskatoon, then Calgary, and back and forth from Saskatoon to Prince Albert, making his final home in Saskatoon. He was employed as a truck driver, his life-long dream, for Allpro Excavating. Before that he worked as heavy equipment operator for Central Paving and Asphalt.
Andy loved camping, fishing, drinking Budweiser beer, and loved his vehicles, especially his work truck #42, referring to it as his “Baby”. He also loved his jigging music. When he discovered Eagle Creek Regional Park, he made that his destination with his wife and kids every summer for camping.
