NATALIE ZIVKOVICH
1939-2016
It is with heart felt sorrow that the Zivkovich family announces the passing of a loving Wife, Mom & Baba, Natalie Zivkovich ,76 years of age. Natalie was born on June 16, 1939 in the Sich district. (Krydor, Sk). Natalie moved to Saskatoon in 1956 where she was employed at St Paul’s Hospital as a Nurse’s Aid eventually meeting the man of her dreams, Mike Zivkovich, on January 1, 1962. They were married on June 16, 1962. Natalie had a passion in caring for people and she eventually opened up three special care boarding homes in Saskatoon that continued for 42 years until her health declined in 2009. Natalie was predeceased by her parents Steve Marchuk (1968) Pearl Marchuk (1987), sisters Jean (Alex) Balan (1993), Mary (Leon) Zabowski (2004) and Ann( Pete) Kirilenko (2008). Natalie is survived by her loving husband Mike Zivkovich of 53 years, her sons Gregory, Michael (Angela) her daughter Joyce, grandson Tristin and granddaughter Kennedy. Her brothers Pete (Shirley), John (Rose) and Mike (Elvina)Marchuk, sisters Rose (Peter) Babiy and Sally (Alex) Labatch as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Natalie put up a hard fight for seven years but eventually lost her battle to numerous ailments and passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday February 12, 2016. A Special Thank You to the Doctors and Nurses (5Th Floor Medicine) And a Extra Special Thank You to the Doctors Nurses and Staff in the Intensive Care Unit at St Paul’s Hospital for the Care, Compassion and Professionalism that Natalie received.
