Obituary of Giovanni Orlando

Giovanni passed away Thursday, November 26, 2020 at Oliver Lodge. He is survived by his loving wife Teresa Orlando of 64 years, son Joe (Marlee), grandchildren Deserae (Jason) Wur and Taylor (Lisa) Orlando, great-grandchild Emeric Wur, niece Rosa DiFiore, nephew in law Paul Urbano, great niece Allie (Brandon and Alexi) Simpson and great nephew John Urbano. Predeceased by his father Giuseppe, mother Arcangela, three brothers and one sister. He was born November 21, 1928 in Rignano Garganico, Foggia, Italy. Worked at the C.N.R as a section man for 37 years and was retired for 31 years. He has many nieces and nephews in Italy and Belgium. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and travelling especially to Mexico and back home to Italy. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Oliver Lodge in Giovanni’s name. Due to COVID, a private funeral will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, December 3, 2020 at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Saskatoon.
