Obituary of John Joseph Hanysh

John Hanysh passed away on November 2, 2020.  John was born in Borden, SK. on July 22, 1942.  He moved to Saskatoon with his parents at an early age.  John was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Hanysh (Kirilenko) and Joseph Hanysh; his sister, Patricia; and brother-in-law David McBride of Saskatoon.  He is survived by: his brother, William Hanysh (Linda) of Winnipeg; sister, Dianne Kozey (Eugene) of Calgary; and numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces.  John worked at various jobs until 1974 when he was employed by Wheaton Motors.  John worked at Wheaton for 40 years, retiring in 2014.  The family wishes to thank Wheaton and his co-workers for their support and fellowship.  We would also like to extend a thank you to all the caregivers at Porteous Lodge.  John will be missed by his family and friends.  Due to COVID restrictions, there will be no formal funeral.
