Monday, August 24th – 7:00pm Prayer Service at Westwood Funeral Home
Monday, August 24th – Private wake at his residence due to Covid-19
Tuesday, August 25th – 11:00am Funeral Service at Westwood Funeral Home *MASKS MANDATORY*
This will also be available virtually on the Westwood Funeral Home website.
Following the service, a traditional burial will be held at the Little Pine First Nation Cemetery.
Wednesday, August 26th – The family feast will be held.
Zonie was born to Jack and Alice (Brass) Baldhead on October 3rd, 1955 and was called to the Spirit World on August 21st, 2020 at the age of 64. Zonie loved playing with all his grandchildren & he thought he had the cutest, sweetest grandchildren. He was extremely proud of all of them and cherished his time with them all. He also loved to keep himself busy whether it would be doing yard work, helping out friends, playing guitar, being a loving husband, a supportive father or playful grandfather. Zonie was always sure to make those around him feel safe, protected, welcomed and loved. Many are proud of the musician he was in his Eclectic World of Music where his talent shined amazingly.
Zonie was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Alice (Brass) Baldhead, Smith Atimoyoo, his sisters; Mildred and Leona, his brothers; Stuart, (Twins) Lloyd and Floyd, Stanley, Dean, Christopher and Joe; nephews; George Kaminski, Terrance Scott Chicoose and nieces; Shelley, Alisia, Lori and Sherry.
He is survived by his wife; Sandra, mother-in-law; Rose Atimoyoo, daughters; Kelly & special daughter Jodi, sons; Joseph, Trevor and Lee, son-in-law; Curtis and special son; Orville, sister-in-laws; Betty Ann, Cynthia, Linda and Lorna, brother-in-laws; Gary and Terry, special niece; Candi and her daughter Leilani, numerous nieces and nephews whom all were special to him, immediate grandchildren; Connor, Corbin, Madi, Slade, Dax, Brooklyn, Xander, TJ, Aurora and Hayden. The Baldhead family from Cote First Nation; The Baldhead family from One Arrow First Nation; The Littlechild/Kinequon family from Daystar First Nation; and The Ahenakew family from Ahtahkakoop First Nation.
