Obituary of Raffaele Donald Pellettieri

It is with sadness that the family announces that Raffaele passed away with his children by his side on Tuesday, July 28, 2020. Raffaele was born in Castlemezzano, Italy and immigrated to Canada with his parents when he was 10 years old. He enjoyed travelling, fishing, hunting, cooking and entertaining those close to him in his home.  Raffaele was employed in the Food and Nutrition Department at City Hospital for many years until his health began to decline. Raffaele is survived by his daughter, Crystal (Scott) Craig, and their children, his pride and joy, Dawson, Gavin and Hailey; his son, Micale Pellettieri ; his best friend, Mario Eufemia who was like a brother to him; godsons Blaze, Angelo and Enzo as well as numerous extended family members and close friends. He was predeceased by his father, Michele in 2001, his mother, Michelina in 2008, and his granddaughter, Montana in infancy in 2002. Raffaele will be missed by those who knew him, in lieu of flowers the family encourages your kind donation to either the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Foundation. A Private viewing will be held this Thursday and Friday. A Graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 1st at Woodlawn Cemetery.  Please contact Mario (306) 220-0023 for further details.
