Obituary of Annie Anderson

Annie Anderson passed away peacefully at the age of 100 years on August 24, 2017. She is survived by her daughter Jona Doering (Larry), daughter-in-law Joanne Anderson, grandsons Greg Doering (Wyetta), Jeff Doering (Shannon), and Wyatt Anderson. Great grandsons Zachary, Ryland, Logan, Charlie and Dylan Doering, Addison, Evan and Xander Komarniski and two sisters, Gerty Anderson and Dorothy Pollard. Annie was predeceased by her parents, husband John, son Michael and sisters Katie, Theresa, Mary and Rosie. Annie loved gardening and cooking and nothing pleased her more than having a houseful of people of all ages. She was active in her church, senior bowling, loved playing cards and crocheted every time she sat down. She also liked to travel and took trips to almost every province including the Maritimes and also Alaska and California. Annie will be missed by all who knew her. She was a nurturing mother and a true friend who always saw the good in everyone. She loved her family without question and we are thankful for having her with us for so long .The family would like to thank all of the staff at St. Joseph’s Home for the wonderful care that Mom received.
