Obituary of Thomas Whalen

Whelan- Tom (Jerome)Whelan passed away peacefully at st. Joesephs Care Home Friday June 30th 2017. He is survived by his children, Tom (Marlene) Whelan and their children, Amanda (Jason Bird) son Owain. Cindy (Chris) Goldfinch, children Emmerson, Norah and Elliot. Lisa (Ryan) Fletcher, daughter Presley. Jennifer Whelan, Jim(Sharon) Whelan and their children Jaron, Janai and Joel. Also surviving Jerome is sister Anne (Bill) Loran, and sister-in-law Mona Whelan along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Freda, parents Tom and Mary Whelan, brothers Jack, Joe and sister Marie. Jerome was born March 30th 1927 and lived and farmed in the Corman Park area of Saskatoon. The majority of his farming life was running a dairy business with his brother Joe. After retiring He still helped out on the farm and took time for his favorite hobby, playing with his grandchildren.
