Obituary of Gordon Stevens

Surrounded by his family, Gordon, age 92, passed away in St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon. Born in Regina SK, Gordon is survived by his sons, Blaine (Sylvia), Ron (Sheri), Glenn (Linda), Rick (Jane), Stan (Debbie); daughter, Cathy (Brett); 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; older brother, Dick (Fran); sister-in-law, Gladys Meier as well as Caroline Traedal (Priel) and her 5 children who held a special place in his heart. Gordon was predeceased by his parents, Kate and Jack; brother, Roy; sister Bertha and loving wife Alma. Gordon served his country in World War II as a member of the Royal Canadian Dragoons. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 196 at the time of his passing. Interment will follow, late afternoon at Mabel Hill Cemetery in Nipawin, SK. Special thanks to Dr. Chaloupka as well as the Palliative Care Unit at St. Paul's hospital.
