Obituary of Arthur Alexander Stewart

Arthur (Art) Alexander Stewart passed away peacefully at the age of 69 on November 29, 2019 with loving family members by his side. We are grateful for the care Art received over the past 7 weeks at Dr. F. H. Wigmore Hospital and St. Paul’s Hospital. Art was predeceased by his parents, David and Mary Stewart and his brother, Gerald Stewart. He will be greatly missed by his son, Mike Stewart (Rita Ermine); daughter, Lisa Stewart (Matt Shadden); sister/daughter, Michelle Oleksuik (Mark); girlfriend, Sandra Richardson; sister, Violet Stewart; brothers, Ron (Shirley), Dave (Margie), Doug (Heather) and Ralph; and many friends. Art was very proud of his three grandchildren, Liam, Dylan and Desmond.  Art was passionate about working which included his jobs at Toons Kitchen, Olson Auto Body and AJ’s Auto Wrecking. Art will be remembered for his joy of going for coffee with his coffee buddies as well as collecting coins and other unique collectables. Art is now in a place drinking coffee, driving Mustangs and making deals with anyone and everyone. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Woodlawn Cemetery. Please meet at the Woodlawn Cemetery gates at 12:45 p.m.
