Obituary of Tanya-Lee Peters
PETERS, Tanya-Lee
1979-2019
With deep sadness we announce the passing of Tanya-Lee Peters. Tanya was born August 16, 1979 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan at St. Paul’s Hospital and sadly passed away July 23, 2019 at Royal University Hospital with her son and family at her side. Left to cherish her memory is her son Cayden Lynden, Raymond Dueck, Grand Father Frank Peters, Uncles Dwayne(Katherine) Peters, Brad (Kimberley) Peters and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Tanya is predeceased by her mother Karen Peters-Dueck and her grandmother Leota (Lee) Peters. Tanya attended W.P. Bate Elementary School then went on to attend high school at Mount Royal Collegiate. After completing school she started working in the Tourism Industry, working at the Travelodge Hotel and the Bessborough for a number of years. After her mom passed away Tanya decided to go back to school where she attended Saskatoon Business College receiving her diploma in Medical Office Administration and started working in the Saskatoon Health Region. At a younger age Tanya enjoyed many activities like dancing and bowling as her mom cheered on the side lines. Tanya also enjoyed doing ceramics and crafts where her and her Mom spent many hours together .Tanya enjoyed her time at the family cabin at Echo Bay where she spent weekends with Cayden and the family enjoying time together fishing, quading and taking the dogs for a walk. Cayden was most important to her and with her failing health over the years she constantly talked about wanting to spend as much time with her son as possible. Tanya was recently released from the hospital and was very adamant that she wanted to go to the lake this past weekend and spend time with her son, Raymond and Grandpa. We all knew something was going on and we are so glad that she was able to spend her last few days at the lake and spend some precious time with her family. She will be lovingly missed. The family wants to thank all the doctors and staff that took care of Tanya over the years as well as the staff every month at the CTC Unit at Saskatoon City Hospital that gave her IVIG Treatment for several years. A Celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Westwood Funeral Chapel, 1402 20th St W.
