Obituary of Thomas Lealand Scott

May 9, 1949 – October 22, 2018
Tom Scott passed away peacefully at home in Saskatoon, Monday, October 22, 2018, at the age of 69 with his family by his side after a short battle with lung cancer. Tom is lovingly remembered by his sons Lealand Lepine (Chantalle), Jason Lepine (Carrie), his life partner and best friend Una Lepine, former spouse Louise Ewert, Grandchildren Allison Hornby, Thomas Lepine, Victoria Lepine, Austin Lepine, Logan Lepine, Rylee Lepine, and Taylor Lepine. Sister, Mary Warrington (Red), Brothers Ron (Beatrice), Jack (Doreen), Bill (Shirley), Dick, Dave (Dorothy) as well as many step-siblings, nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Tom is predeceased by his parents James and Rose Scott, Step-son Connery Wintonyk, sister-in-law Linda Scott (Dick), nephew Larry Scott.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on November 1, 2018 at Hope Fellowship Church (809 – 32nd St W Saskatoon, SK) with lunch to follow. We welcome and encourage everyone to share their personal (family appropriate) stories at the celebration.
The Internment will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Loverna, SK, on November 3, 2018 at 2:00pm. All are welcome to attend.
The family would like to sincerely thank Saskatoon Palliative Home Care Team, without their support it wouldn’t have been possible to provide dad with the care and dignity he deserved.
